The Grand Depart see’s Bikes Against Bullies Founder Chris Cooper and VP Adrian Rigden leave lands end on their 50cc scooters heading along the A30, with the day split into three legs. Please come and join us on any of the 3 legs or you can even spend the day with us as they pass through Cornwall, Devon and into Someset on their way to Weston Super Mare.

The Bikes Against Bullies ‘Grand Tour’ is hugely important to us because not only will it raise our anti-bullying message and let young people and families know we care, but it’s primary aim is to raise awareness around the damage bullying can have on young people, and the serious impact it can have. Sadly each year at least 15 children/young people take their own lives due to bullying, because they just can’t see any other option to end their pain and suffering.

Sadly Dagmara Przybysz aged just 16 felt this way and sadly took her own life whilst at school in Cornwall. This beautiful young girl had reported being bullied for at least 2 years prior to her death by other pupils. Dagmara’s family are in our thoughts, and with their blessing day one of our grand tour is dedicated in her memory. We hope with your support and coverage of the event, we will help those being bullied and help prevent other children from feeling that suicide is their only option to ease their pain.
